It started to rain, but this will not stop me to explore the beauty of Rome on my last day. I am used to the rain since I am living in the United Kingdom.
From the metro station I am just walking up to the Castel St Angelo. Despite of the rain still a lot tourist walking around the city. I am here, in front of the building, there is a bridge, which has angel statues on it’s both side. I have seen this in the movies, and on pictures, but to see it in real life with my own eyes it is much better.
The rain is not that bad now so I am going to walk in the city, towards to the Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Piazza del Popolo.
At the Trevi Fountain you would think how nice it is and relaxing. Well it is definitely nice yes, but not relaxing at all. The most busy place where I have been in Rome. Around the fountain hundreds of people trying to make some acceptable photos for their memories. Guys are proposing I think in every 5 minutes here. It is crowded and uncomfortable, you better watch your belongings.
If you want some peace and quiet, you should go to the Piazza del Popolo. There is a big park just next to the square – reachable by foot -, which is absolutely beautiful. The view from here is stunning, there are several benches so you can sit down. Loads of palm tree and other nice trees, white rocks on the ground. I love this place.
Beautiful images👍 I’d like to travel to Rome someday. Thanks for sharing😀

Better the rain than the unbearable summer heat. Well observed about Trevi fountain. I had never heard of Piazza del Popolo so thanks for mentioning it and sharing your photos.
